You can't serve two masters.

I read this in my quiet time tonight:

"If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth" (I John 1:6).

This is harsh truth. If we are not giving up the world and running after God, we do not have an intimate relationship with God.
